Join us for a special tour, led by PMA's Carlos Basualdo, of Cy Twombly's homage to the Iliad, Homer's tragic story of the final 50 days of the Trojan War. Rare for the work of a twentieth-century artist, these ten large canvases illustrate a narrative, evoking incidents from Homer's epic through Twombly's characteristic blending of words and images.
Tickets: Pay-What-You-Wish Wednesday Night at the PMA, but pre-registration with the Penn Humanities Forum is required to reserve your space. Register early; spaces limited.
