Postdoctoral Fellowships
2027-28 research fellowshps on the theme of Empire are available to humanities scholars who received or will receive their PhD between May 2022 and December 2026. Application deadline: November 1, 2026.
Penn Faculty Fellowships (coming soon!)
2027-28 research fellowships are available to Penn standing faculty in the humanities for research fellowshops on the theme of Empire. Application deadline: October 1, 2026
Manuscript Development Workshops
Penn humanities faculty are invited to apply for a Manuscript Workshop to be held during the 2027–28 academic year. The Wolf Humanities Center provides up to $3000 and administrative support to invite a senior scholar to Penn to participate in a workshop with colleagues.
Project Development
Penn tenured faculty in the humanities are invited to apply for funding to help support a new or existing research project.

FELLOWS
Undergraduate Humanities Forum
Penn undergraduate students who join the Wolf Humanities Center as Fellows of the Undergraduate Humanities Forum (UHF) conduct humanities research on the Center's annual topic and become part of a group of interdisciplinary scholars who meet regularly to share and workshop their projects, pursue cultural activities of common interest, and occasionally meet in special receptions with the Wolf Humanities Center's distinguished guest speakers. The year's program culminates in a spring research conference.
