Judy Chicago: The Style of Judy Chicago

Judy Chicago

Some artists develop a signature style which they practice throughout their careers. Not Judy Chicago. Her seminal work as a feminist artist grows out of her commitment to a content-based art and to her belief that form, like style, should always follow content. Ms. Chicago will offer her personal vision of art in highlights of a forty-year body of work that has provoked extremes of praise and criticism throughout the world.

Cosponsored by the Department of Fine Arts of the Graduate School of Fine Arts, the Clay Studio, and the Women's Studies Program.
