Empty Desert follows the story of formerly nomadic Bedouin people and their village Al Araqib. Despite repeated attempts to evict them, Bedouin villagers have continued to inhabit their land for decades enduring increasingly untenable conditions.


Film to be followed by discussion with filmmakers Silvia Boarini and Linda Paganelli and Penn Middle East Center Assistant Director Ibrahim Bakri.
